1. Terms and Conditions: Introduction

   Welcome to Pairus Inc, a company whose office is located at 48 Yonge St., Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5E 1G6.

   By joining Pairus Inc as a member you are entering into a contract based on these terms and conditions.

   Payment of the joining fee is acceptance to these terms and conditions.

   Pairus Inc may change these terms and conditions from time to time. The most recent version of these terms and conditions will always appear on this page. Your continued use of Pairus Inc’s services will constitute acceptance of such changes.

2. Eligibility and Membership
   1. Your membership of Pairus Inc and use of our services is conditional on the following. By joining, you confirm and warrant that:
      1. you are at least 18 years old;
      2. you are single or separated from your spouse;
      3. your personal information is true, accurate and complete;
      4. you live in North America; and
      5. you are not using and will not use Pairus Inc services for any commercial purpose.
   2. Your membership will be void if any of the above conditions are broken.
   3. Special membership for those who live outside of North America may be available for prospective members who are able to travel to North America to meet potential matches but will be considered on a case-by-case basis at Pairus Inc’s sole discretion.
   4. Pairus Inc reserves the right to refuse any membership application at its sole discretion and without giving a reason.
3. Your Rights and Responsibilities
   1. As soon as you have completed your initial meeting with Pairus Inc we will begin assessing potential introductions. Pairus Inc offers different levels and types of membership which will be explained to you in person at your initial meeting with the company. We will use our reasonable efforts to introduce you to potential partners who we think may be suited to you. You understand these individuals may be paying clients, free affiliates, or referrals from other matchmakers.
   2. You accept that the more limitations you impose on the type of person you would like to meet, the fewer introductions may result. You also accept that Pairus Inc cannot control whether another member wishes to reply to any communication from you, nor the nature of any feedback they supply following a date with you.
   3. You accept that Pairus Inc does not guarantee any minimum number of introductions. We will endeavor to estimate a number based upon the information you provide at the initial meeting. This number is intended as a guide only and under no circumstances will it constitute a binding promise. You accept that after declining three (3) potential matches, future potential matches will count as a match.
   4. You promise to:
      1. provide accurate and truthful information about yourself;
      2. act in a respectful and courteous manner towards other members;
      3. keep all information provided to you by Pairus Inc confidential;
      4. notify Pairus Inc of any changes to your personal information; and
      5. abide by all applicable laws and regulations.
   5. If you breach any of these responsibilities, Pairus Inc may terminate your membership without refund.
4. Fees and Payments
   1. By joining Pairus Inc, you agree to pay the applicable joining fee. The joining fee will be communicated to you at your initial meeting with the company.
   2. Pairus Inc reserves the right to change its joining fees at any time. Any changes to the joining fees will be communicated to you in advance.
   3. All fees are non-refundable, except as required by law.
5. Limitation of Liability
   1. Pairus Inc is not responsible for any damages, whether direct or indirect, arising out of or relating to your use of our services. This includes, but is not limited to, any damages resulting from the actions or conduct of other members or third parties.
   2. In no event shall Pairus Inc be liable for any incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, loss of data, or emotional distress arising out of or in connection with your use of our services.
   3. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Pairus Inc harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our services or your breach of these terms and conditions.
6. Child Safety and Protection Standards
   1. Pairus Inc maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We are committed to protecting minors and preventing any form of exploitation on our platform.
   2. Our child safety measures include:
      1. strict age verification processes to ensure all users are 18 or older;
      2. immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities for any CSAE-related violations;
      3. proactive monitoring and screening of user content and communications;
      4. cooperation with law enforcement agencies in investigations related to child safety; and
      5. regular updates to our safety protocols and detection systems.
   3. Users must report any suspicious activity related to CSAE immediately to our safety team at [email protected]. Reports can also be made through our in-app reporting system.
   4. Violation of these child safety standards will result in immediate permanent account termination, reporting to relevant authorities, and potential legal action.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

   These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
